Heritage Series Instruments
Our finest offering of standard production mandolins, comprised of The Fern F14-F, Vintage F14-O and The legendary Diamondback mandolins. (Video show features a Diamondback with custom distressing).
The Fern – Weber’s most traditional mandolin is crafted with a hand-voiced 3A Adirondack spruce top and highly flamed maple back, sides and neck. For 2018, upgrades include a newly designed dovetail neck joint, a new Fern Burst gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish, Waverly F-style satin gold tuners, James tailpiece, and an ebony pickguard bound with purfling. You will immediately feel the unparalleled chop, sustain and volume.
The Vintage is Weber’s traditional early century model with an oval soundhole and classic rope purfling ivoroid binding. The hand-voiced 3A Adirondack spruce top and highly flamed maple back, sides and neck are paired to work closely with the modified X-bracing for a loud sound and defined chop. It has been upgraded with a new dovetail neck joint and ebony pickguard bound with purfling.
The Diamondback - With its thin gloss distressed finish and speed neck, the Diamondback comes alive as you play it. Now with a dovetail neck joint and hand-voiced tops, you will be amazed at the sound and volume.
