Overview

The Acoustic Music Company (TAMCO) was established by Trevor Moyle in 2001.

I set out to offer guitars and mandolins in the UK, mostly from North America (the USA and Canada), that had previously not been available here. TAMCO now represents over fifty of the very best North American guitar and mandolin luthiers, a few small workshops but mostly individual craftsmen, making ten to twenty instruments per year. I work closely with them, if you have a question about an instrument I will talk with the luthier that makes it. TAMCO is my passion and I hope my love of fine guitars and mandolins is evident in everything I do.

I do not work with distributors (who add to costs and usually have no interest in or knowledge of instruments - with the exception of Eastman mandolins). This way I can share part of the magic that is contemporary luthiery and offer you the prices that you would get importing yourself (and a UK based warranty with no need to return instrument to the USA for warranty work at your cost) and the opportunity to try out a selection of incredible instruments.
