World Meeting of Families 2015

The festival of families is being held this Saturday, September 26,2015. This festival is an international celebration of family, community and faith. The public is invited to join this celebration of support and love. During the festival, musicians and other entertainers will be performing in front of participants from all around the world. One of the featured musicians performing is Weber artist Marie Miller.

Marie Miller is a talented singer/songwriter who exhibits a mesh of modern folk, pop and country. Miller is signed to Curb Records, an established independent record label based in Nashville, TN that has an impressive artist roster including big names like; Lee Brice, Mo Pitney, and Natalie Grant. Marie is the third of 10 children and began singing at age seven. At twelve she joined the family band. Music is in her blood you could say. She released the single “You’re Not Alone” in 2013 and has been climbing the charts ever since. She has opened for popular artists like Backstreet Boys, Colbie Caillat and the Plain White Tees and has had her newest single “6’2” featured on ABC’s Dancing With The Stars.

With all of Miller’s success she is ready to add another impressive endeavor to her resume, performing a musical set for Pope Francis.  Joining her will be Andrea Bocelli, The Fray, Aretha Franklin, Jackie Evancho, Matt Maher, and more. While most would be nervous, Marie is excited to share her music with such an important figure in the Catholic community, but also an inspirational leader to the world.
